Man City top premier league table with win over Everton.
Goals from Aleksander Kolarov and Samir Nasri were enough to lift Man City back to the top of the Premier League table and maintain their 100 per cent record at Everton.Kolarov slotted City in front from an acute angle after 60 minutes following an impressive run by Raheem Sterling, returning to Merseyside for the first time since leaving Liverpool this summer.
Everton did have their chances in an entertaining encounter, with former Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku clipping the crossbar and seeing a goal chalked off for offside in the first half.
But it was City who sealed the points late on when Nasri latched onto Yaya Toure's through ball before delicately lifting the ball over Tim Howard.
